Choosing Your Scale

Monstrous Encounters miniatures are sculpted in true scale, so their proportions can differ noticeably from more exaggerated fantasy miniature ranges.

32mm True Scale is our recommended option for most modern fantasy armies and collections, where miniatures tend to be larger and more heavily proportioned.

28mm True Scale is better suited to traditional true-scale collections or armies built around smaller, more realistically proportioned miniatures.

If you’re unsure which version will fit best alongside a modern fantasy collection, we recommend 32mm.

Recommended base size: 25mm square per model.
