Choosing your scale

Monstrous Encounters miniatures are sculpted in true scale, so their proportions can differ from more exaggerated fantasy miniature ranges.

32mm True Scale is our recommended option for most modern fantasy collections, where miniatures tend to be slightly larger and more heavily proportioned.

28mm True Scale is better suited to more traditional true-scale collections or armies built around smaller, more realistically proportioned miniatures.

If you are unsure which size will fit best with a modern fantasy collection, we recommend 32mm True Scale.

Recommended base size: 25x50mm rectangular cavalry bases.

Supplied unpainted and may require minor preparation before assembly and painting.
