Bring your painting hobby to the Christmas tree with this collection of festive ornaments designed by Highlands Miniatures.

From traditional nutcracker soldiers and bundled-up snowmen to Santa with his sack of presents, the designs offer plenty of character alongside classic bells, gift boxes and baubles. Sculpted hanging loops allow you to turn your painted pieces into decorations using your own ribbon or thread.

Choose traditional reds, greens and golds, try a frosty winter palette, or match the decorations to your tree. They also make a thoughtful painting project for creating personalised festive gifts.

Designs pictured include:

• Snowmen in festive hats and scarves
• Nutcracker soldiers
• Santa carrying a sack
• Bells tied with a bow
